Ancient Remedy for Modern Stress

ARTHRITIS? Pains in your joints? Random?
Want to Manage Your Arthritis? If you have arthritic pain in a part of your body, and you’ve had it for some time, then try this remedy. I learned this from some of my students. Here is a success story: my neighbor had a problem knee with swelling and pain – I showed her how to pack a box of Blonde raisins into a 5-1/2 inch Ball/Mason jar to the top; pour Gin into the jar until it reaches the top and covers the raisins. Screw the top back on, and place in refrigerator. Next day, all the raisins will have plumped up, and you eat one raisin at a time, conscientiously, until you have consumed 10. Do this daily, and if it is going to work for you, within two weeks that pain will have gone from your body, or been greatly diminished. My neighbor has finished one jar, and is starting another. IT WORKS! I’ve been doing it for years!

SPECIAL NOTICE OF A YOGA WORKSHOP FUNDRAISER – MID-SUFFOLK NOW – MAY 21
Many of you know I am President Emerita of Mid-Suffolk NOW chapter, Stony Brook. Our once-a-year fundraiser is coming up on May 21, a Saturday. I hope you can support this event, by attending as a participant, or contributing so that we can send our intern from the Women’s Studies program at Stony Brook University to the National NOW Conference, Tampa, Florida in June.
