Ancient Remedy for Modern Stress

“Summertime, and the livin’ is easy…” as the Porgy & Bess songs goes -
and a good time to rededicate yourself to your Yoga practice. Thousands
gathered in Central Park on June 22nd to practice Yoga (NYTimes 6.27.10);
they were rained out after 10 minutes, but the outpouring of current and
potential students shows how mainstream Yoga has become.

It was a European Dr. Kegel who developed a series of exercises
to strengthen pelvic floor muscles. If you, or someone you know, experience
USI, (Urinary Stress Incontinence) when laughing, coughing, sneezing, my
FREE 2-HOUR WORKSHOP here in my studio will be helpful. We will
discuss the Yogic practice of Bandha Lock, a muscular lock or contraction
to control the flow of prana.
