WOMENS HEALTH INITIATIVE:
I have been a participant in this study since 1982.
This is a research study initiated by the government and administered by universities and medical research centers throughout the US; on Long Island it is administered by School of Medicine, SUNY, Stony Brook, NY. In their recent newsletter an article stated that to enhance your health as you age, you must keep mentally and physically fit. Most importantly you must learn to manage your stress. What better way to do this than by learning and practicing YOGA? Yoga will help you identify stressors that you can get rid of, or at least minimize. Plus exercise that restores and strengthens your body, while learning how to breathe properly. Join Us!
