For those who are recovering from illness or trauma, please consider RESTORATIVE YOGA. We start the program v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y. Concentrating mostly on breathing, we will learn simple yoga positions. This is all done with eyes closed, so that the "awareness" is within.
If you, or a family member are dealing with chronic conditions such as accident trauma, MS, fibromyalgia, back pain, sciatica, asthma, post-surgery anxiety, gently getting back in your groove hastens your recovery.

This is a purification process (a Kriya) that clears the mind and improves concentration -- increasing the amount of oxygen in your body. You will learn this when you start a Yoga practice in Islandia.
